RECORDER LESSONS
The recorder is a great instrument for the young ones to learn the various concepts of music, whether one-on-one tuition or in a group. This instrument, despite often being perceived as a beginner instrument only, can be taken to a professional level and is a great instrument to play in an orchestra and even in Jazz bands!
Lesson Structure
Allegro lessons are conducted in one-on-one 30-minute lessons focused on our students' unique musical styles. We ensure that our students enjoy their lessons and by providing a stress-free environment.

We offer the opportunity to enter Eisteddfods or do UNISA, Trinity College or Royal Schools Exams, but these are not compulsory. The only goal is for our students to enjoy music to the fullest!
Our experienced instructors cover fundamental techniques, breath control, and music reading, making learning easy and enjoyable. Explore classical and contemporary pieces while building a solid foundation in music theory.
We provide access to a wide variety of repertoire, from early music to modern compositions, broadening your musical horizons. Special workshops on topics like baroque ornamentation and contemporary techniques are available to deepen your understanding and skills. Regular recitals and community performances allow you to share your music with others. At Allegro, we create a supportive and enriching environment for your recorder studies.
