Lesson Structure

Allegro lessons are conducted in one-on-one 30-minute lessons focused on our students' unique musical styles. We ensure that our students enjoy their lessons and by providing a stress-free environment.

We offer the opportunity to enter Eisteddfods or do UNISA, Trinity College or Royal Schools Exams, but these are not compulsory. The only goal is for our students to enjoy music to the fullest!
The Allegro Method includes practical sessions focusing on rhythm, timing, and ensemble playing, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the role of the bass. Our supportive environment encourages exploration and growth, helping you become a proficient and versatile bassist.

Our bass program also emphasizes ear training and improvisation, essential skills for any bassist. You'll have the opportunity to play with other musicians in jam sessions and bands, enhancing your real-world playing experience. Access to our extensive library of bass literature and practice tools will support your learning journey. We also offer recording sessions, allowing you to hear your progress and refine your technique. With regular performances and feedback, Allegro ensures that you develop not only as a bassist but as a complete musician.
